Libellula = "dragonfly" in Italian : )
This gorgeous pendant was made up of many different pieces. The base is a gorgeous pendant setting with decorative filigree detailing, filled with a tiny silver dragonfly and tiny gold plated filigree pieces. The bail is formed by a larger, pewter dragonfly. The centre has been filled with a glass-like lacquer to add depth.
Chain is an antiqued silver large-link chain, with a smaller antiqued silver cable chain (2 layers) reaching around to the lobster clasp at the back.
Pendant falls 5cm/2" from base of the necklace.
