This stunning pendant reminds me of a bygone era - oh the luxury!
A gorgeous Ametrine* cabachon has been attached to an armature (frame) and then several metres of very thin wire has been woven around it, enclosing tiny 2mm silver beads and handmade wire swirls help to keep it in place. The entire piece is very decadent and so beautiful in real life - I particularly love the little silver dragonfly and butterfly charms that I wired into the top left and bottom right hand corners - gorgeous!
The bail has been woven in a herringbone manner in the centuries old tradition of basket weaving. All wire used is non-tarnish silver artistic wire.
It's all ready to be worn on your favourite chain, ribbon or cord - or see the silver neckwires also available on this site (below) for a modern look. The bail has been created so that it should fit up to large size of trigger or spring clasp with ease (so your chain can pass through it without any problem).
Size of this gorgeous pendant: 5.5cm long x 3.3cm wide (being just under 2 1/4" x 1 1/4").

*AMETRINE is a gorgeous blend of both Amethyst and Citrine and is mined in only one place in the world - Bolivia. It is reputed to promote creativity (possibly why it's one of my favourite stones!) and strengthen concentration.
